This past Sunday, Colorado Farm & Art Market had a Season Kickoff Party at the Margarita at Pine Creek.  It was fantastic to see a lot of people celebrating the upcoming market season even though it was overcast and chilly.

Tickets were $25 for adults, $20 for uniformed service and students, and kids 12 and under were free.  There was plenty of delicious food and drinks along with live music, and an art activity table for the kids.

The Colorado Farm & Art Market is the only cooperative farmers’ market in Colorado Springs. Colorado Farm & Art Market is proud to feature farmers, ranchers, artists, and food vendors that are all local and sell only what they have produced.  Each vendor undergoes a jury process to ensure the highest quality and only the freshest, Colorado only grown, and seasonally available produce will be offered at the markets.

The Margarita at Pine Creek’s Chef Eric Viedt and his staff prepared a delicious meal with donated food items from Colorado Farm & Art Market farmers and food vendors.  A nice selection of beer was donated by local brewery Bristol Brewing Company as well.  The Mitguards provided the live music.
